HELPFUL TIPS AND ADVICE FOR A HAPPY HEALTHY SPA

    SPA MAINTENANCE

Taking good care of your hot tub is essential for maximizing its lifespan. However, it doesn't have to be a burdensome task. By establishing a regular maintenance routine, you can reduce the overall maintenance requirements and simplify your hot tub ownership experience. Implementing some smart tricks can not only prolong the lifespan of your spa but also enhance your enjoyment while reducing the time spent on maintenance.

    KEEP THE WATER CIRCULATING
One of the most important parts of hot tub maintenance is keeping the water in motion. Hot tub water must frequently circulate through the filters to stay clean. If your hot tub has automatic circulation, set it to run 15 to 20 minutes twice a day. If it does not have automatic circulation, turn on the circulation for 15 to 20 minutes twice a day.

    CLEAN FILTERS
Your hot tub filters work hard to keep dirt and debris out of the water. Remove and clean the filter cartridges on a regular basis to keep the water clean. Allow the cartridge to air dry completely before you put it back in the filter. If the water becomes dirty or cloudy soon after, it’s time to put in a new filter.

Rinse the cartridges every two weeks with water from a hose. Make sure that you remove dirt from every pleat in the cartridge.

DON'T TURN UP THE HEAT TOO HIGH
We advise against using a hot tub with a water temperature exceeding 104°F/40ºC as it can lead to overheating, dehydration, and fainting. It is recommended to have a high-quality thermometer on hand to verify the water temperature displayed on the hot tub. Many individuals find a water temperature of 100.4°F/38°C to be comfortable.
